Teaching
Ruth studied at the Guildhall
School of Music as a junior
scholar and later at the Royal
College of Music where she gained
her ARCM. She is a dedicated and gifted teacher who inspires her pupils,
from beginners to diploma standard.
Teaching is an important part of Ruth’s life; she currently teaches at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Junior Guildhall, Wells Cathedral School, Bristol and Bath Spa Universities.
Ruth has a 100% success rate in preparing students for grade exams. Many of her pupils join county youth orchestras, the National Childrens’ Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra.
Ruth also runs harp courses for teenagers and for younger children each summer.
